Join Me for the Weirdest Party of the Year: Chappell Roan Meets Medieval Times! 🎉🛡️
This past summer, while working at the Ren Faires in the Pacific Northwest, I went from being a casual Chappell Roan fan to a full-on true believer.
I was DJing the afterparties at both the Oregon and Washington Ren Faires, and let me tell you—it was an absolute blast. Who wouldn't love leaving Dallas for a hot, action-packed summer and getting paid to go to what basically felt like adult summer camp? I met so many incredible people: sword swallowers, hurdy-gurdy players, living statues, jugglers, cat trainers—you name it. We all gathered around my RV (with AC and running water, bless it) and spent a lot of time together, which meant plenty of opportunities for new creative ideas.
One of those amazing people was my dear friend, The Lady Victoria. She's a brilliant Hammered Dulcimer player, and musically, we should be complete opposites, but we found so much common ground. It started with a little joke—I'm a huge nerd who loves Medieval instruments, and I'm obsessed with Bardcore (that genre where current pop hits get turned into Medieval-style ballads). I dared her to learn "Hot to Go," and soon enough, it became a joke among us that you couldn't escape hearing it! Ukuleles, guitars, violins, dulcimers—you name it. I even threw it into my DJ sets. And guess what? We recorded a video of Lady Victoria playing it on the Dulcimer, and it went viral with over 3.5 million views on TikTok. Is that not wild?!
So, here's the real question: do you think they'll play "Hot to Go" at the party? Do you even need to ask? It's the Ren Faire party, after all! (Watch the viral video here if you haven't seen it yet: WATCH HERE:
I’ve always hated the chaos of New Year’s Eve. I’m not about to spend my night dodging someone’s drunk uncle who wants to hear "Sweet Caroline" on repeat. No thanks. That's why I started throwing my own niche parties that are guaranteed to be filled with only the coolest people. Last year, we kicked off Elfsong Tavern, which sold out venues all over the U.S., and this year, we're bringing you something even more outlandish.
Introducing: Pink Pony Pub – the wild, unexpected, and oh-so-weird party where Chappell Roan meets Medieval Times. You might be asking, "Why???" But trust me, it makes perfect sense. We had the idea before the VMAs, and then Chappell’s jaw-dropping performance of “Good Luck Babe” happened. OH MY GOD. The vibe? Perfect. The timing? Even better. We dropped the flyer the next day, and history was made. Huzzah! 🎶✨
If you want to be part of something completely one-of-a-kind, this is your chance. Tickets are on sale now, and you don't want to miss out.
